okay here is a list of things I need to play or watch or finish note to self

Tiger and Bunny: noble, dashing superheroes with a heaping pile of silliness and bromance and family bonding/angst and great characters and something sad possibly happens?

Spice and Wolf: watched a dub ep, seemed pretty neat so I guess I’ll go dig up some more (I prefer subtitles myself, but the dub does sound really great and NOBODY SOUNDS LIKE A CHAIN-SMOKING ROBOT WOMAN, KINO’S JOURNEY). apparently it is about harvest goddesses and economics? it has that tranquil feel I like in anime sometimes.

all games set in Ivalice: finished XII and Tactics War of the Lions, working on original Tactics and Revenant Wings now, started Vagrant Story once with an emulator but I need to find it again. then I have to play the ones with the judges bleh but it’s okay because I JUST REALLY LOVE IVALICE OKAY IT’S PRETTY AND TERRIBLE AND YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND POLITICS, RAMZA

all the Metal Gear, all of it: finished MGS, 3, 4, Peace Walker (which I am still working on because MUST DATE KAZ). Portable Ops is lined up next! also I have Acid 2 for some reason, guess I have to go find Acid now whoops

Farscape: (to finish) Jackie loves it! fun sci-fi, and then like half the actors joined Stargate SG-1 which Jackie has to finish because I love it. Yes. also Farscape has alien Muppets, you know like Yoda and shit.

Due South: Jackie likes it and it has a cool soundtrack and is about a guy from Canada and stuff?

Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water: (to finish) Jackie loves her some 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and therefore this. Adventure! Steampunk! Silliness! Captain Nemo! ALSO GRANDIS IS TOTALLY JESSIE’S GRANDMOTHER OR SOMETHING????? LIKE TEAM ROCKET JESSIE, I SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD

Adventure Time: (more of) I’ve seen quite a few episodes here and there, so I should really make the effort to catch up!

Man From U.N.C.L.E.: C’mon Jackie’s dad has like all the DVDs or something we need to get on the ball here

Y: The Last Man: I have been spoiled that the best character dies? Jackie approved!

Baccano!: (to finish) adventure and mystery and the mafia and fedoras and murder and fedoras! also Isaac and Miria are incredibly silly!

Breath of Fire series: look I finished V and loved the shit out of it so much, now all I have to do is go back and unlock ALL THE CUTSCENES woo! even though it’s pretty different from its predecessors, I liked what I’ve played of I and II well enough. I might have finished II, but it was a bad ROM :( and apparently III and IV are pretty great!

that damn Les Miserables anime I downloaded months ago: apparently it’s a pretty good adaptation only with Japan’s added love for Gavroche or something and somebody lives who shouldn’t like Javert maybe? anyway me and Jackie will have fun watching it

Tantei Opera Milky Holmes: why the fuck not. sadly I am not enough of a detective buff to get all the references (although Hercule and Arsene are pretty identifiable names). solution: become enough of a detective buff!

every Zelda, Mario, Final Fantasy, Metroid, etc. game ever: because I only had a Game Boy until I was sixteen years old and apparently my life is not complete otherwise, whoops! watching Jackie play all the Paper Mario gameand making smartass comments counts, right? I actually got pretty far on FFX, and finished FFXIII (goddammit Sazh how dare you be so awesome it makes the shitty battle system worthwhile).

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: because I only had three channels until like sixth grade and apparently my life is not complete without this either?
